Euphorbia monteiroi (Angolan Form) - 5 Seeds
Euphorbia monteiroi is a stem-type species of Euphorbia native to Southwestern Africa. This species forms a large, engorged, and somewhat tuberculate main stem. The cyathia are adorned on very long peduncles, forming a large umbrella encompassing the plant. Euphorbia monteiroi has proven to love growing outdoors in full sun in San Diego.
Our seeds offered here are from Euphorbia monteiroi of Angolan provenance. The Angolan form has purple-red nectar glands with yellow-green appendages, as well as dark green pollen which is quite interesting. Typical Euphorbia monteiroi ssp. monterioi has fully purple-red cyathia.
Seeds are available in increments of 5 seeds per packet.
These seeds were collected within September 2026.
